This is the original UK double LP by the BEATLES, WHITE ALBUM, released in November 1968 on the dark green APPLE label PMC 7067/8, top opener, Numbered 0476944, with the embossed 'The Bealtes' on the front of the cover, complete with the original 4 prints of each Beatle and the large poster, black inner sleeves and even comes with the original white paper seperation sheet. The dark green APPLE labe'sl have "Sold in the UK" and (P) label credits. Matrix numbers are, side 1:- XEX 709-1, side 2:- XEX 710-1, side 3:- XEX 711-1, side 4:- XEX 712-1, EMI stamper codes are, side 1:- 3/TT, side 2:- 3/GGD, side 3:- 2/TR, side 4:- 8/GDD.
The original UK Garrod and Lofthouse fully laminated top opener gatefold cover is in EX+ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the embossed 'The Beatles' word on the front is perfect condition, no damage, and the number 0476944, has minimal wear and is very clear to see, the spine is full intact, broad, and perfectry readable. The cover has only very minor lamination creasing in a few places, very light, and small, a GREAT COVER.
Both vinyl's are in VG+++ condition, both having some light surface marks, both vinyl's maintain their original shine and lustre. I have played both vinyl's, all four sides, and the quality of the pressings are SUPERB, side 1 and 2 play, a strong EX+, with only a little minor crackle here and there, mainly inbetween tracks, the Mono comes through the speakers with crisp, clear clarity, stunning audio. Sides 3 and 4 play EX, great clear crisp clarity, their are a few light clicks on one track on side 3, and one on side 4, both DONOT stick and donot jump, playing through perfectly, very minor, and doesn't in any way spoil the great audio experience, the quiet tracks:- 'Blackbird', 'Julia', 'Dear Prudence', 'I'm so Tired', 'Long Long Long' and 'Goodnight', play quietly with a hint or no crackle. Altogether a both vinyl's play with such drive and purpose, whilst delivering a crisp clear clarity that you would expect from quality pressings.
All four label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole's show little or no wear, great, label's.
The vinyl's are housed in their original black inner sleeves and in a EX+++ condition, they are lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits, SUPERB condition!.
The original four prints of each Beatle are in a STUNNING MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, no rips or tears, STUNNING condition!. The original white seperation sheet is in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no rips or tears.
The original Garrod and Lofhouse poster is in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and cirsp, with no unwanted writing, no seam splits, no rips, or tears, SUPERB condition.
Altogether a GREAT copy of this original 1968 UK MONO double LP by the BEATLES, THE WHITE ALBUM, complete.
