Description
This is a nice condition ORIGINAL 1967 U.S. CAPITOL RECORDS MONO PRESSING LP of the LP titled 'MagicalMystery Tour',with eleven tracks from The Beatles. It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number MAL 2835, gatefold cover with 24 page cool picture book.
The original mono issue of 'Magical Mystery Tour' is much rarer than the original stereo issue due to the fact that all of the U.S. major labels stopped issuing mono LPs right around the time 'Magical Mystery Tour' was first released at the tail end of 1967.
Capitol rainbow label with ''Mfd by Capitol Records Inc U.S.A.'' in the bottom rim. Issued in a gatefold cover with a 24-page booklet inside. Original issue - Has ("No You're Not" said Little Nicola) under the "I Am The Walrus" title inside the gatefold sleeve in block print and not cursive as in later issues. Spine: 2835 Label: MAL-2835 Back Jacket: MAL 2835 Tracks: Songs And Music From A Color Television Film Called "Magical Mystery Tour": A1 Magical Mystery Tour 2:48 A2 The Fool On The Hill 3:00 A3 Flying 2:16 A4 Blue Jay Way 3:50 A5 Your Mother Should Know 2:33 A6 I Am The Walrus 4:35 ...Plus These Other Selections: B1 Hello Goodbye 3:24 B2 Strawberry Fields Forever 4:05 B3 Penny Lane 2:57 B4 Baby You're A Rich Man 3:07 B5 All You Need Is Love 3:57
Condition of record is nicer than is usually seen with this title - Condition of record is a real nice EX with all original gloss and just a very few very light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is VG+ with the main flaw being the inner 22 pages of the picture book being still stapled together but separated from the outer two pages which are glued inside the gatefold cover. Cover also has a little ring and contact wear and a little wear along the edges and on the corners, no splits. This RARE MONO LP would be a great addition to any Beatles or classic rock record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (17.50) AND GERMANY is $22.00 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!! PLEASE NOTE: AN EXTRA $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED OVER $50.00 GOING TO BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. ALSO, DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES. Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S.! BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
