Description
We had a rather nice donation of Beatles records at the Oxfam shop in Chichester, where I am a volunteer.
THIS IS A CHARITY SALE - ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE OXFAM SHOP.
We believe this to be a first edition of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Parlophone PCS 7027 with yellow Parlophone "£" label and "Sold in U.K." from 1967. Also has the original inner sleeve and cut outs card.
The condition of the sleeve is very good with only some minor handling wear. The record has clearly been played but it has been quite well looked after as there are only faint surface marks and the odd finger print. Note that we have not played this ourselves.
In my experience of sorting records over many years Beatles records seldom come into this shop in this good condition.
