Description

BEATLES PLEASE, PLEASE ME LP. Original 1963 UK.

***Rare - Sixth Pressing “Patents Pending”*** sleeve. “Please, please me”. Earliest FIRST PRESSING!! MONO.

Up for auction is this RARE Sixth Pressing of the Beatles most sought after album “Please, please me”. This version is housed in a very earliest “Patents Pending” small MONO cover.

This album is in great shape and is as nice as they come, both the vinyl and the outer cover. I cannot speak highly enough about this little treasure. It is just superb. I expect a lot of interest in this item because it is rare and is in such TOP CONDITION. Do not leave this to chance. Make sure you get your bids in if you truly want to own this great album

COVER: One of the nicest you will ever see without exaggeration. TOP GLOSS laminate finish in pristine condition. The spine is perfect. The very best. “Patents Pending” type. Sixth Pressing - small MONO.

VINYL: Just two extremely faint stylus touches are present which do not affect the superb quality of play. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded; a very strong EX++/ NM.

LABELS: Superb rich deep colours. Couple of extremely light spindle trails. MT Tax code side one. EX++.

MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: XEX-421-1N

SIDE TWO: XEX-422-2N with corrected matrix.

STAMPERS: SIDE ONE: 13 ROM

SIDE TWO: 6 H

INNER SLEEVE: Original tracing paper lined EMITEX type. EX.

AUDIO: Is virtually faultless. The odd exception here is only from a small stylus touch on track five, side two which produces a couple of ticks. It can just about be heard into approx. 3 grooves of track six. But that is about it. Sounds are otherwise immaculate, clear and bright. I have tried to be as absolutely clear here about this record as is humanly possible. Do not be deterred by the slight indiscretions on the vinyl, as they are genuinely only slight. The TOP GLOSS finish is stunning. I guarantee you, the winner will be delighted with this album.

To sum up. This album is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM of the very best quality, and would certainly be a great addition to any existing collection. If you are a BEATLES fan or BEATLES collector, then this one is for you. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!

A MUST HAVE ALBUM!!

BEST OF LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.
