DESCRIPTION:
14-track stereo vinyl LP on black Parlophone label with yellow logo and silver text, housed in Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. front laminated flipback picture sleeve complete with 'Emitex' inner bag.  The 'All rights of the manufacturer' message around the rim starts with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd'.  The labels have 'Made in Great Britain' (at 6 o'clock) and both labels have 'Recording first published 1963' (at 9 o'clock) but they do not have the 'Sold in the U.K.' statement.  The word Stereo on the front of the sleeve is larger than later editions.  The rear of the sleeve has angled flipback corners on the spine and straight cut on the opening edge.  There is no 'KT' on either label and if 'KT' was the UK tax code for 1st January to 1st July 1963, then one must assume that this is a later pressing but because the 'Sold in the U.K.' text is not on the labels, it must date from before February 1964
TRACK LISTING:  A clear scan of the track listing has been uploaded
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The sleeve has very slight edge wear top and bottom of the spine but the rest of the spine is nice and clean (see picture 4).  The top seam has one very small scuff (see picture 5), the bottom seam does have heavier scuffing as well as nine small creases (see picture 6).  The rear of the sleeve has some discoloration and the bottom flipback has 6 small creases.  The 'Emitex' inner bag has some creasing but is nice and clean, with no tears or seam splits (see pictures 7 & 8).  The record labels both have wear around the spindle hole (see pictures 9 & 10).  The vinyl has several light marks and hairline scratches but these are mostly superficial, there is very light surface noise and the occasional light click but nothing intrusive and on the whole the sound quality really is very good
