BEATLES – PLEASE PLEASE ME – 7-inch 45-R 4983

Original 1963 Parlophone recording on 45rpm 7-inch with red/silver label catalogue number 45-R 4983, The Beatles: Please Please Me/Ask Me Why. The label has "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." in upper and lower case lettering and "Recording first published in 1963". Original Type A sleeve. Matrix Nos. Side 1 – 7XCE 17217-1N; Side 2 – 7XCE 17218-1N.

The disc has several light surface marks and scratches but we have listened very carefully and can detect no audible faults; the disc plays perfectly with no skips or jumps. On the Please Please Me label there is part of a sticky label (see photo). The Type A sleeve is in very good plus condition with light creasing and a few grubby marks.
