Description
Superb overall complete copy of this much sought after FIRST UK Beatle album released in 1963!
This is the 4th pressing first released in the summer of 1963 with black label and yellow logo and silver print. "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." is printed at the start perimeter print and "Recording first published 1963" at the 9 o'clock position.
Correct original sleeve with Angus McBean credit starting at the end of g in songs and Ernest J. Day Co. Ltd credit on the lower edge of the back cover. Complete copy offered with original tracing paper lined Emitex die cut inner sleeve which is in excellent shape!
Sleeve: VG+ Really nice example of a 1963 laminated original cover! Most copies you see are in pretty rough shape but this copy retains original gloss and firmness. Spine is in tact and completely readable as seen in the photos. There is minor corner wear and some minor creasing. There is a name written on the back cover.
Record: VG++ very, very limited wear which is RARE. The majority of wear seems to be on the labels which is evidenced in the photos.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
A very nice collectible copy!!
