Description
On offer here is a beautiful NEAR MINT and very rare 1969 UK 3rd pressing of the Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields Forever 45 by THE BEATLES!!! These very rare 1969 pressings without the ‘Sold in UK’ text were only available for a very limited time before being replaced by copies with the EMI box on the bottom of the labels and are now VERY hard to find, especially in this condition!!
This rare pressing comes with the distinctive ‘dinked’ centre holes on the labels. The vinyl is very strictly graded in EX+/NM condition and looks unplayed, a truly great copy!!
Matrix numbers are 7XCE 18415-2 and 7XCE 18416-2. Mothers and stampers are Side A ROM 1 2 and Side 2 RHD with no visible numbers at 9 o’clock.
It comes in an original Parlophone company sleeve in VG condition. A brilliant copy of a very rare record!!
