Description

Up for auction is a copy of Penny Lane b/w Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles, released in 1967. This copy is a rare US demo on Capitol, cat no P 5810, featuring an otherwise-unreleased version of Penny Lane, including a horn riff on the closing fade which was later removed from the released mix. This 45 has been booted on a couple of occasions, but this copy is guaranteed to be an authentic original.
Condition: much wear to both sides, but everything plays through without jumps/sticks, though with surface noise & some clicks & pops. G+.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
