1st UK Press1st UK mono press from 22nd March 1963 with black & gold Parlophone labels, uncorrected Dick James mus. co publishing credits for tracks A1, A2 & B4, B6. Matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N with low mothers/stamper codes 1O / 1GG & MT tax code on side A. 1st press large mono Ernest J. Day & Co sleeve with Angus McBean photo credit on the front bottom corner correcty aligned with the 2nd ’s’ in ’songs'. Complete with original Emitex bag inner.
Condition The vinyl condition is EXCELLENT. A very quiet copy, 3 clicks in total, light static inbetween some of the tracks, no surface noise throughout most of the record. Glossy, clean surfaces with some light surface marks. The A side label gold print has faded, the B side label is still vibrant. The sleeve is VERY GOOD, some staining to the lower right side and back to consider, glossy front, no ring wear, fully readable spine, mild corner wear, no wear at the bottom and top edges, no splits, fully intact. The original Emitex inner is NEAR MINT.
