The Beatles Please Please Me . New Zealand Parlophone. 1963. PMCM 1202. 2nd issue, with mono only cover and all rear titles /print in black (1st issue I have listed separately was a mix of blue and black). This issues dates from mid 1964 onwards.
UK Matrix: xex 421/xex 422.
Record: VG
Labels: EX-, biro pen name on both sides
Cover: VG/VG-. Main faults apart from ageing, Has a 2cm repaired split in spine. 5cm repaired split on front cover running from opening edge through the red "SE ME" titles .
Spine has wear and paper loss at bottom 1.5cm. Bottom seam has a repaired seam split. Bottom right corner has a 2cm split. Rear sleeve has a biro name and a plastic name sticker
NOTE: Last picture in listing shows the colour differences between the 2 issues I have listed, black label 63 issue and this blue label 64 issue. Front cover is the black label 63, and the rear sleeve is the one from this blue label issue.
