Description
For sale is a very rare and early 4th U.K. stereo press of the Beatles debut album.
Original heavy card Ernest J Day sleeve in VG condition. Only real issue is small split to spine
Original Use Emitex inner G+
Record labels imply heavy use with a lot of spindle wear. The record surfaces however are in much better condition. Some minor scuffs and hairlines but nothing deep or feelable. A solid VG grading here
Very early stampers . 1GO and 1T
You can tell from labels that is it 4th press, as have ‘Recording first published……’ text but no ‘Sold in U.K…..’
Sonically both sides are VG+. A few crackles noticeable- mainly between tracks. No clicks sticks skips or jumps.
Whilst not a true audiophile collectors copy, this is a very enjoyable listen with no real sonic issues.
