BEATLES, Please Please Me, UK Parlophone,1st Press Mono, Black & Gold Label. This is a Very Good Copy and is a first issue of this format. Only a first and second press appear on this style of label and you can spot the first press very easily as I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Do You Want To Know A Secret and There’s A Place all have the incorrect Dick James Mus. Co. publishing credit – this was corrected to Northern Songs from the second press onwards. The cover is however in poor condition.
