Special info: Original 1st Issue Gold Label Mono

Formats: LP

Matrix #: XEX 421 1N and XEX 422 1N

Stampers: 1 H and 1 GD

Original cover with McBean credits disappearing off the bottom

Cover condition: VG-

Main body of the cover is still very shiny and in good order but otherwise has the inevitable........        

corner damage & edge wear & creasing around edges & corners (bottom left-long and top left-short)/bottom right corner split(3.5cm)/top edge small split (< 2 cm)

Angus Mcbean credit just viewable on very bottom!

Starts under very end of last blue 'S'

Back: thin tape mark down open edge/

Background-overall quite clean with only light discolouring/ageing-all lettering intact

Flaps: - some surface tears and damage (top) and some light creasing/lamination still shiny and mostly in good order

Spine: some wear-lettering mostly clear and intact-minor wear along very bottom of 1st Please and some wear on 2nd 'l'/ineveitable corner wear

Record condition: VG-         still plenty of shine but has been well played with various large and small scuffs & marks

Intro from run out is noisy but the tracks themselves play very well with only the odd click-mainly on side 1-the background noise is apparent between tracks but not too evident otherwise.

We advise playing these old 60s discs with either an original 60s turntable (which tends ro have a heavier arm) or using a heavier setting on your more modern turntable-this should bring out more of the sound as the grooves are cut deeper than later vinyl pressings (particularly 80s and 90s pressings)
