This is a BONAFIDE NEAR MINT most definately UNPLAYED copy of the long-sought COMPRESSED PRINT Apple label issue of SOMETHING b/w COME TOGETHER issued October 6, 1969!! Features the Apple label WITH CAPITOL LOGO RIM PRINT ON THE SLICED SIDE OF THE LABEL! 'A' SIDE TITLE IS ABOVE THE CENTER HOLE~ Has 'Manufactured by Apple Records, Inc.' written in lback across the bottom of the label~!
One of the HOLY GRAIL items of Beatles vinyl collecting which was quickly removed from production after what- you guessed it- legal entanglements between Apple Corps. and Capitol Inc. designating this to be THE RAREST APPLE STUDIO SINGLE ON THE COLLECTOR'S MARKET TODAY, and these only exist on the collector's market at a ratio of approximately 1:100 out of all that were ever pressed of this initial 10/69 1st production run!!
