BEATLES 45 LOT WITH RAREST SOUVENIR VISIT VJ EP1-903 + 2 VEE JAY COMPANY SLEEVES AND ADDITIONAL VJ 45!
In this unique auction, you’ll win FOUR Beatles collectibles:
TWO RARE Vee Jay Records company sleeves in outstanding condition, packed separately from the discs.
An early pressing of the four-song VJ EP1-903 aka Souvenir of Their Visit to America, with black label, colorband, brackets logo and the Roman Numerals I and II on the labels. This was issued in 1964 before VJ Records re-marketed it as the “Ask Me Why single,” with that title in larger print.
Perry Cox rates the one you’re bidding on as the RAREST of the four early variations.
The songs sound remarkable after almost 60 years: Misery, A Taste of Honey, Anna and Ask Me Why. Both labels have unusually minor wear (see photos).
You’ll also get VJ 581 PLEASE PLEASE ME / FROM ME TO YOU, with brackets logo and colorband.
