Description
Classic Rare BEATLES single on the UK RED PARLOPHONE LABEL
"Please,Please Me" / "Ask Me Why" R 4983 1963
AMAZING RARE FIRST ISSUE COPY WITH THE ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE
One of the greatest BEATLES singles written ofcourse the credited McCartney/Lennon.
Harder to find than the first "Love Me Do" UK red label. This copy is in UK Very Good Condition. Glossy vinyl with light surface marks only-Plays extremely well with a little background noise-I would rather undergrade than cause any disappointment-This record is a major league Beatles collectable-
As you see from my photos, the push out centre is missing-I can supply an inner to match if requested.I would prefer to sell this copy in the way it came to me! The 'A' side has had a square stamp pressed into the centre-The remnants of the mark is just visible below the silver PARLOPHONE sign.Otherwise this side is clean and tidy. The 'B' side has a name stamp ( M.V.OLUTHA RIV ) is all I can read of it.Above the song itle is a name written in ink 'Rowland'.Above the Dick James print are the initials SW in ink and SR in faint red felt marker-I have not tried to remove these marks-I will leave that up to the new owner.....
Altogether a nice example in great shape for the age-CHECK MY FEEDBACK FOR FULL CONFIDENCE.....................
