After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please note that the eBay title image is a graphical representation I made just to show that this album has the Let It Be label on side 1. The actual side 1 label itself is not 'split' or anything and all label photos can be seen below in the description.
. This auction is for an early repressing of the Beatles double LP 'The Beatles', known as The White Album. I'm not too sure when this repress was manufactured but I'm guesstimating that it's a 70's/80's reissue.
This is a very rare, possibly even unique pressing of the White Album, in that side 1 does, in fact, carry a Let It Be label rather than it's correct White Album one! One or two erroneous Let It Be side 1 labels must have gotten mixed up with a batch of White Album side 1 labels. Such a huge error should have been caught by quality control, but it appears that this one managed to slip through the net!

The cover is holding up fine but does have some light cosmetic issues. The cover, as a whole, has yellowed slightly with some ligth brown spots over the front and back. Corners are looking pretty sharp and there's a little wear on the top and bottom seams, but no splitting or tears. The spine has some wear and a few paper splits, but hasn't split. The back is like the front but there's a little bit of light, blue staining bottom right. Inside has yellowed a little but there's nothing really of note to mention.

The playing surface on disc 1 has a nice shine to it and and has some light, faint scuffing but nothing really heavier that I can see. Disc 2 : EX

Disc 2 has a nice shine to it and some light scuffs in places, not as much as disc 1, hence the slightly higher grade. I can't see any heavier looking scuffs or marks. Very nice disc!.

Both labels are looking awesome with nothing more than a little, very light, faint spindlewear. Top labels! Disc 2 Labels : NM-

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
