1966 PARLOPHONE PMC 7009 Matrix no's : XEX605 - 2 / 606 - 3The vinyl has an excellent deep lustrous sheen - indeed one of the cleanest copies we've seen and under bright light there are some visible marks but really only fine hairlines and sleeve removal marks and very little else of any significance. And this is confirmed on playing as sound quality is fantastic - plays bright and clear with great dynamic range on this top MONO pressing and is graded EXCELLENT PLUS - is a pleasure to listen to with really very little surface noise at all - literally just two audible clicks during ' Doctor Robert ' on Side 2.
The YELLOW and BLACK PARLOPHONE record labels are graded EXCELLENT with little visible spindle wear. Labels have the ' Gramophone Co Ltd ' texts and ' Sold in UK...' text as per 1st Pressings.
The quality card FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK PICTURE sleeve printed by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE is EXCELLENT MINUS - slight discolouration to the white card and opening and has a small stain front top left corner and on the back top right corner but other than that there is really very little visible wear at all and the spine is strong and 100% legible etc.
This is a great 1st PRESS copy of this classic Beatles Lp.
