Description
I have very sadly decided to sell the remainder of my own record collection over the next few weeks. It is varied in its content from 60/70's Folk/Rock, incl rare Zeppelin and Floyd 1st presses, some Beatles and Dylan, including Japanese presses, various now deleted Audiophile pressings and female vocal. Some records I have owned since new, others I have carefully selected and picked up along the way. I have always tried to collect the best and earliest copies.
I will keep descriptions as simple as possible rather than do elaborate advertisements.
Whilst I have owned the records they have only ever been played on either a Michell Orbe or SME Model 20 turntable, both fitted with SME V tonearms and quality cartridges such as the Lyra Delos. My last phono stage was the Reference Whest PS 30RDT SE coupled to Vitus amplification and Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers. Not only has this been a revealing system, giving me an accurate assessment of all records played on it, but it has, I hope, always looked after the vinyl.
I clean all my records on an Okki Nokki RCM before putting them in new Nagaoka anti-static record sleeves and plastic outer sleeves. They have always been very carefully stored in a smoke free enviroment.
I will grade using the Record Collector system, erring on the side of caution as I have sold the SME. I am also selling the phono stage and cartrige. I am happy to discuss details with any buyers.
Please Note: Postage costs for recorded/signed for/overseas and box sets etc may be more than those stated and must be agreed and paid for before posting please.

Side 2 Matrix XEX 606-2
Tax Code K & T letters Side 1
MT and PO Stampers
"Dr Robert" print on record & sleeve
Small 'mono' on sleeve
"Sold In U.K. & Gramophone Co" etc on Label
Outer Sleeve - EX+/NM. This is stunning and the best I have seen. There are just a couple of 'finger' creases near the opening. Otherwise this is superb for age. There is no shelf wear, the spine is perfect and there is no delamination. "Creases Music Stores County Road" - Liverpool stamped on rear cover, top right (see photo)
Inner Sleeve - Superb, just a little age discolouration.
Labels - N Mint. There are only a couple of spindle traces to each side.
Vinyl visualy - N Mint. It is hard to fault this even in the strongest light.
Vinyl play - N Mint. I have just played this through and the sound is stunning. If you bought this today and played it you would have no complaints. It is so quiet, there is barely any vinyl surface noise which is incredible for a record that is 47 years old.
I think you will be very hard pressed to find a better copy
PLEASE LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK SO YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT I TRY AND SELL NOT ONLY QUALITY RECORDS BUT THAT MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE AND THAT I TRY AND PACKAGE TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS.
I will be listing in April Japanese Audiophile pressings of a number of the Zeppelin albums plus an English 1st pressing of the Extremely Rare first "Turquoise" album together with 2 and 3. Also rare copies of Dark Side Of The Moon and other Pink Floyd albums and some other Audiophile Box Sets
I am happy to offer a full refund for any record a buyer feels is not as described, if returned exactly as sent within 10 days.
Please do not leave any negative feedback without contacting me first, if you feel any part of my service is not as you would have wished.
