Description
On offer here is a VERY RARE UK original 1966 mispressed mono 1st pressing of the Revolver LP by THE BEATLES on the yellow & black Parlophone label with the ‘Sold In UK’ text and the XEX 606 – 1 matrix number on side 2 and featuring the withdrawn remix 11 version of Tomorrow Never Knows!! This copy comes in the correct laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. The matrix numbers are Side 1 – XEX 605-2, Side 2 – XEX 606-1. Catalogue number is PMC 7009. Mothers & stampers are: Side 1 – GR 5 & Side 2 – GL 2. The record is visually very strictly graded in VERY GOOD– condition, there are quite a few hairline marks plus some small scratches on both sides, there is a longish thin curved mark / scratch in the groove of Taxman on Side 1 causing clicks and some surface noise but as usual with these original thick vinyl 60’s pressings the LP plays through really well though with occasional clicks etc but with no sticks or jumps and it is 100% flat with no dishing or warping!!!! The original flipback laminated cover is also very strictly graded in VERY GOOD++ condition with some minor wear and creasing but this is generally a very nice sleeve indeed with a lovely spine!! The labels are nice with no tears, writing etc though with some spindle wear, most evident on Side 2. Comes with original Emitex inner sleeve in nice condition!! A very acceptable copy of a classic Beatles rarity, not a Mint copy but it plays really well!!!!
UK Registered Postage is £4.00. Airmail postage (not registered) to USA is £8, insurance is extra. Records will be packed in very secure brand new professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners and with the LP in a PVC sleeve and with the inner sleeve and record separate from the cover to avoid splits etc - I do not make a profit on postage at all and delivery quickly and pack very securely for maximum safety.
