My clearout continues!
I'm now clearing our a batch of classic rock, prog and 60's LPs that I bought in a collection a few years back, a pretty complete collection but I don't really need all the titles. Watch this space for more titles.......
you're bidding for:
BEATLES Revolver UK orig Stereo vinyl LP EX+/VG+ 1/1 matrix Dr. Robert
cat: PCS 7009 matrix: YEX 605-1 YEX 606-1 stampers: 1 MT 1 RH
The vinyl still has a beautiful gloss and sheen with no significant marks or scuffs, grades as EX+. There are numerous faint hairlines visible when held to a bright light, however none are deep or feelable and they don't affect play. The front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in stunning condition, flat and glossy and still amazingly white, however a couple of small issues mean I can only grade it as VG+. The spine is fantastic with really sharp corners at each end but there is a small corner crease and slight rub on the bottom of the open edge. The unlaminated rear is also beautiful and clean, flip backs intact and again really white with hardly any yellowing, on the tracklisting on here the error Dr. Robert version is printed, making it a very early sleeve . However, on the bottom flip back, just to the left of the G&L credits part of the flip back has toen away (see last pic). It looks like maybe a sticker or plastic sleeve may have pulled away the top layer of the sleeve. I appreciate some may mean this should actually grade lower but the rest of the sleeve is so strong that VG+ is still a very honest grade. Both yellow and black labels are EX+ with light spindle wear but no writing or stickers, on here Doctor Robert is printed. Orig plain white inner is VG+.
