Description
Mono LP by The Beatles - Rubber Soul. Garrod & Lofthouse laminated cover.
Comes with its original Emitex rice paper-lined inner sleeve. Label:- Parlophone (black with yellow logo and silver print). Year of release:- Dec.1965. Number:- PMC 1267.
SPECIAL FEATURES
- 1st mono pressing, ultra-rare first production run "Loud Cut" mix. It's said that this has an edgy, aggressive vocal sound compared to later pressings.
- Side 1 matrix stamp XEX 579-1. Side 2 matrix stamp XEX 580-1. See photographs.
- "Sold in UK" and "The Gramaphone Co. Ltd." texts (earliest Sans-Serif font label). The song credit indicator asterisks (*) are spaced away from the individual song titles.
Condition The outer cover and inner sleeve are in excellent+ condition. Visibly the disc is in very good to excellent condition - according to the definitions in the table below.
For mailing, I will use a special record mailer envelope / stiffener and send tracked via Royal Mail small parcel.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. NEAR MINT The record has been played once or twice and is like in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. JUST OK The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
