BEATLES Rubber Soul MONO LP in Shrink w Rare MICHELLE STICKER Capitol 1st Pressing

Original 1965 Capitol Records T 2442 mono pressing of The Beatles classic Rubber Soul vinyl LP. Still in its original opened factory shrink wrap - with the rare original 'Hear Paul sing "Michelle" Original Beatles Version' promotional sticker intact on it.

Capitol rainbow colorband labels with the names of the four band members and NOT the band name on the labels. Clean condition.. label 1 looks flawless and label 2 is very nice with just one spindle area mark.

Shrink is firmly intact, frayed on the left front edge, pulls on corners at right edge, and it covers 3/4 of the back cover.

Comes with original Capitol green inner sleeve with advertising of other Capitol artists. Nice shape with no splits.

Back cover has the number 3 next to the RIAA logo.

Vinyl is in clean, very nice visually graded condition. Nice shape with full shine and gloss.

Coming from a smoke free home, and ships in an archival sleeve and LP mailer.

On May-26-14 at 12:26:08 PDT, seller added the following information:

Hi everyone PLEASE READ:  I don't have the means to play this, so visually grading looking at the Goldmine grading, I would put the cover in the VG+ range: NM where it is still covered and VG/VG+ in area where it's not covered, due to slight discoloring. No splits.

Labels based on Goldmine:  Only one spindle mark on one label, so VG+/NM. No writing.

Vinyl:  I would put in the VG+/VG range via Goldmine. I only say VG because I just now see a less than 1/2" scratch that my fingernail picks up. I looked at it in sunlight before describing it, and didn't pick it up. Other than that its shows lighter signs of being played and handled with surface feather marks that should not affect play. No warping. Still looks glossy to me.

Forgive me if the word 'clean' that I used in the auction description is not conservative enough of a term. If clean means near mint in Goldmine, than it is not NM. I am not a record dealer, just a collector and music lover. Grading I have found to be subjective in the audiophile family, which is why I was leery of doing it, but I can see it needs to be done on this one. I want whoever receives this to be happy. Please let me know if you need me to look at any other specific area on the record/labels/cover/sleeve.

Thanks again and best regards, gooddaysunshine
