Description
Here is an exceptionally rare early UK copy of Rubber Soul with the silver "Stereo" print on the upper right corner of the front cover. Very few copies were issued in this variation. We believe this is the second 1965 pressing: black label with yellow Parlo logo and silver print; the word "stereo" on the A-side label slightly flushed to the left; matrices "YEX 178-3" and "YEX 179-3." The cover is in strong VG condition, very close to VG+, with a 1" split at the middle of the upper seam (see pic #5 above), slight shelf wear on the tips of the corners and tiny writing on the back lower right corner (see pic #6). Vinyl is also VG with a lot of light scuffs and surface marks. Playback is strong throughout with some crackle and pop that's more evident on the quieter tunes.
