1964 ORIGINAL RCA CONTRACT PRESSING ~ NEAR MINT
T-2080 ~ CAPITOL RECORDS ~ MONO
In 1964 The Beatles Second Album received so many advance orders that in order to fulfill the initial orders they need to have RCA and Decca Records do some pressings for them, this set is identified by the large indented ring in the labels (a Decca pressing would have had a small approx. 1.5 inch diameter indention). The RCA produced sets were obviously done in smaller numbers as Capitol did the bulk of the order through their many pressing facilities, so this is much rarer set than the standard flat Capitol versions. And given the condition of this LP it's a true gem for collector's who cater to these specialties.

VINYL VISUALLY GRADED as NEAR MINT and PLAY GRADED as MINT MINUS No scratches, a tiny bit of light paper scuffing, No nicks or hairlines, No repeating tics, No jumps, No skips and hi-fidelity at all volume levels. Play's little or no background sound, an amazingly clean high fidelity sound only heavy vinyl can replicate!
LABELS are MINT No writing, rips or tears and No markings.
JACKET is VISUALLY GRADED as NEAR MINT There are No splits, No writing and only a bit of age patina in the form of a more vanilla coloration to the front slick, the back is extremely clean and still the matte white with very slight wear, the front has a ring abrasion which can be seen in the photo when enlarged in the upper left quad of the slick. Corners are square and sharp, the top and bottom seam have partial roughing and the title seam is fully legible.
