RARE - Miss Print Label : Side 2 label omits "A Day In Life" credit

This is the rare 1967 UK 1st press vinyl LP with the miss printed side 2 label of the Beatles classic Sgt. Pepper.

This 1st press has the gatefold sleeve and yellow/silver/black PARLOPHONE labels with "THE GRAMOPHONE" rim text, 'SOLD IN U.K.' on both of the labels. Comes with original red/white wavy inner sleeve and original cut out insert. The record has the earliest 1/1 matrix each side and in the wonderful heavy weight vinyl. This is a mono issue and has the track listing for 'A Day In Life' on the back sleeve but was omitted on side 2 of the label which makes this an extremely rare issue indeed.

Vinyl (XEX 367 -1 / XEX 368 - 1) - is in Very Good++ condition. The vinyl has one or two very minor surface scuffs both sides. It has sharp text printed labels both side. Labels are completely clean and only has very minor and light spindle marks. Vinyl still retains it bright sheen.

Red/White Wavy Inner Sleeve
This is an original issue red/white printed wavy inner sleeve. It is in Very Good++ condition with very minor and light creasing. Some light edge wear and no seam splits, pen or tears.

Insert
Comes with original grey backed printed cut out insert in Very Good++ condition. The colours are vivid and sharp and has it's original just pressed sheen. Edges and corners are firm and sharp.

Gatefold Sleeve
The Garrod & Lofthouse gloss laminated sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. The laminate has a bright gloss and it is completely clean. Some very very minor corner rounding and very minor creasing to the gloss laminate. On opening the inside poste like image is unworn, bright and sharp. The top flipbacks seams are sealed and complete. The spine is firm. This sleeve still feels very solid.

This is now a very rare and hard to find record set and to find it in this condition is remarkable. I only have one so don't miss out . . .

This Album is fantastic sounding record with some great tracks. A REAL GEM. Don't miss out.
