The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
This extremely rare Nimbus Supercut remastering of The Beatles eighth studio album produced on a limited run of 1000 records for readers of HI-FI today.
I purchased the record in 1984 and have used it sparingly; it looks and sounds as good today as the day it arrived. It is by far the best Stereo reproduction of Sgt Pepper that I have heard. These do not come up for sale very often!
The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve displays the original Nimbus Supercut sticker to the front. The vinyl has the two-box EMI labels. 'Nimbus England' can be seen stamped in the run-out groove to both sides (see picture).
Also included is the original polythene lined inner sleeve and cardboard cut-out page.

The labels are bright and clean. There is no spindle wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are blemish free in strong daylight. Under the glare of a halogen desk lamp several light paper hairlines can be seen. A record that has been well cared for.
Sound Quality: MINT -
I was undecided on whether to grade as MINT. I decided against it as everyone has different standards. To my ear, on my system, the record is perfect. There is a reason Nimbus Supercuts are the dream for every audiophile collector. This particular remastering lives up to the hype.
Sleeve: MINT -
The sleeve looks superb. The front retains a glossy finish with bright colours. The rear is exceptionally clean. All four corners are crisp and sharp. The opening edges, bottom edges, and square spine are all without any wear. The top edge has a small crease - it came like this, I think they all did.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. It has no tears, writing or seam splits. There are a couple of mysterious stains the origin of which I am unsure. The vinyl is housed inside an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the record and inner sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
