Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


MEGA RARE original MAS 2653 Scranton gatefold first pressing from June 2, 1967 in glorious mono with psychedelic printed inner sleeve, rigid glossy card stock cut-out insert sheet, G2/F1 matrix suffixes etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two, no NEMS or Maclen Music credit in the bottom right hand corner on the rear cover, an exclamation point at the end of Mr. Kite on the rear cover but not the label, a comma between Good Mornings on the rear cover but not the label and parenthesis on Sgt. Pepper's Reprise on the rear cover but not the label!!  LP is VG with some very light scuffs.  Cover is VG as well with NO splits or seams on the outside edges or spine and a small (around 1") split on the spine at the middle on the inside gatefold only.  


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
