Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth album by The Beatles. It is often cited as their magnum opus and the most influential album of all time by prominent critics and publications,

For those out there who want to hear SGT Pepper's in stereo at its best here is the rarely seen and earliest 2nd pressing ''1g'' and ''2g'' (earliest stampers) with near pristine vinyl audio grades at the very top on all frequencies!!!!

Here on offer is another rarety the original Earliest 2nd press stereo of the classic Beatles '' sSgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'' and complete the audio is superbe and will be hard to surpass by any audiophilles out there!!!!! This particular album is exceptional condition not only for the audio quality but the extreemely rare CONDITION OF THE VINYL PLAYING SURFACE This is the best that i have seen of this rare 2nd pressing!!!! This album would mark the 54th that i have listed and sold on ebay and is rated at the top and one of the rarest  with ''1'' ''g'' and ''2'' ''g'' mother stampers  This would be one of the 1st off the press for this 1st issue 2nd pressing and in my opinion the best for audio quality you can hear it makes all the difference!!!!!!! From my experiance and my hobby collecting Beatles Albums in particular it is my opinion that the earliest of the press provides the best audio quality with deeper richer quality of audio. This is why i have collected so many over the past 35 years. This vinyl rates at the top of all of them!!!!!!

Please note! Please do not confuse this pressing with the reissues!!! this is the original classed 2nd pressing without ''sold in the uk'' across the labels. This has the original thicker and heavier vinyl (later reissues are much more flimsier and less robust) this pressing is so rare to find and in this awesome condition must not be underestimated!!!!!!!!!

The vinyl.

GRADED AT THE TOP THE PLAYING SURFACE IS NEAR PRISTINE This is the original much thicker and deeper grooved and more robust type of vinyl than later pressings!! which are more flimsier!! The vinyl lies flat on the turntable. SUPERBE!

On visual inspection the vinyl still retains its original sheen from new and at 1st glance looks like new even out side in bright sunlight I can't see a blemish!!! Although obviously there might be some light whispy lines (this is 40 years old) but I honestly can't see any at all!!!!! In fact the only signs that this has been played is some spidering on the labels but this has obviously been lovingly looked after from new!!!!!!! I have played this through and the audio is cristal clear and vibrant great STEREO sound!!! There are (no) signs of distortion or grooveware or any signs of this been overplayed at all. (the quality of the audio will be hard to surpass)Please look at my completed listings of albums that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!!!!! The record is thouroughly enjoyable all the way through.I never heard any clicks or pops during the play of this record Please note! I always add this disclaimer!please allow for  the odd click (not) consistant through out the album This is an original pressing of 40 years old and would have been played on a system of 40 years old!!!!!!Even between tracks any background noise was extreemely minimal. I thoroughly enjoyed this album!! You could definately here the great STEREO mix of this pressing This is graded at the top for audio excellence  graded at the top!!!!!!!!! Please note! This is one of the best that i have ever seen of this pressing!!!!!

The labels.

Feature the yellow and black parlophone labels with '' The Gramophone co....'' around the label rim (only 2ND press)and  (WITHOUT)''sold in the uk....... '' text!!! (only early press)!!!! (WITHOUT) The K.T tax stamped in the middle on side 1.(only early press) There is little if (no) spindleware spidering can be seen in strong light !!! (this has not been over played ''Made in Gt. Britain'' is featured (only uk press)STEREO is featured (only 2nd press) labels are superbe!!!!!! (see photos)

The cover

This is the original Garrod & Lofthouse printed (fully laminated gatefold) not to be confused with later unlaminated versions   (non)flipback cover!!!!    No splits tares or nasty hand writing on this cover  very rare  (see photo) creases can be seen in photo provided on the front of the cover but this is unusually glossy and lovely rich in colour The spine is also exceptional condition (see photo) The rear is exceptional (see photo) The original stereo version (no) splits light creasings thats all !!!!!!!! very little storage ware to mention and very reasonably square corners!!!!!!!!!!!!! miss titled cover ''A Little help from my friends'' !!!!!! The colours are exceptionaly vibrant (others can be quite incipede) A superbe example!!!!!!

It is extreemely rare to see an original 2nd press sgt pepper in stereo that is complete and in this condition cover and the superbe audio quality and exceptional vinyl like this!!!!!!!!!!
