UHQR Pressing (Stereo)

Limited Edition, #4589

Catalogue No: MFQR 1-100

This pressing offers the ultimate analogue experience. Half speed mastered on heavy duty (thick), totally flat, virgin JVC Super Vinyl, using the original Abbey Road Master Tapes as the source. This disc is not the normal MFSL version, it is the next step up. Ultra High Quality Recording.

This disc has been owned by me since new and played a total of 4 to 5 times on a Technics SL1200 Mk II turntable using a pristine Shure V 15 Type V cartridge and stylus, tracking at 1.25 grams and aligned using the MFSL GEO DISC. As such, it is in mint condition.

The disc comes in an anti-static MFSL sleeve, surrounded with a bi-fold cardboard protector sheet, inserted in a heavy duty album cover and then placed between 2 protective foam sheets in a substantial, linen bound, stiff cardboard box. (See photos)

Included are the UHQR Certificate of Authenticity and the UHQR Technical Specifications Manual.

I will reinforce the package with extra cardboard for shipping purposes to ensure you receive it in the best possible condition.

You will be presented with several options.

I suggest you choose “Registered International” although, “Air Mail” is usually OK. There are other more expensive options that are supposedly quicker but sometimes, I wonder. The choice is up to you.

Please be aware that with the exception of local pickup, I will charge $8.00 AUS for protective packing to either Australia or International.

I accept Paypal but please don’t pay until we have discussed the shipping charges via ebay message or email.

I have some other rare Beatles discs coming up shortly for auction so add me to your favourite seller’s list and check back from time to time.

Due to some previous craziness in terms of non-paying bidders, I ask that if you have less than 5 positive buyer ratings, you contact me via the ebay system and clarify that you are a bona fide bidder. I reserve the right to cancel your bid if you ignore this directive. This, of course, exposes your maximum bid to all other bidders so, do the right thing.

Thanks for looking and good luck.

Note to Australian bidders: Please pay no attention to the postage figure shown at the top of this listing. It is an automatic figure generated by ebay. I can’t work out how to stop that from happening. Please use the Aus Post links I have provided in the body copy of  this listing and follow the instructions to arrive at a more accurate figure. Thanks.

Important Note For International Bidders

Please be aware that the automatically calculated ebay postage figure shown at the top of this listing is considerably excessive and not what the true postage will be. Please use the links I have provided in the body copy of the listing and follow the instructions in order to ascertain a price. You will notice a considerable reduction. Also, for international, I will only ship this item via Registered International or higher which requires a signature.

Thanks.
