Description
Here is another selection from a collection of original 50s/60s LPs.
This is a UK original mono 1st press "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" LP.
Again, I shall assume if you are reading this then you know what you are looking at, so straight to the relevant details.

Side 1: XEX 637-1
Side 2: XEX 638-1
The cover is in excellent shape. The outer laminate is completely intact front and back with little creasing - a couple of 1cm-2cm wrinkles. On the back cover (bottom right) there is a mark where an 2cm oval sticker has been removed. The inner laminate is also completely intact, again with a couple of 1cm wrinkles. There is a little rubbing to the openings. The spine is intact and clearly readable. The flipbacks are all secure.
The cut-out sheet is present and in excellent condition. The original psychedelic red inner sleeve is unfortunately absent.
The labels show "K" and "T" in relief around the spindle hole on side 1. They have the "The Gramophone Co" text around the rim. There are some spindle marks, but no writing/rips/tears.
The vinyl retains a fine lustre. It has some hairlines on both sides. I have listened all the way through. No sticks or skips, but an isolated pop and some background noise in quiet passages and in gaps between tracks. I'd grade at a solid VG.
The record will be very securely packed in a box mailer with lots of extra padding.
