RARE FIRST ISSUE **MONO** VINYL LP on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, ‘Sold in the UK….’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both sides of the record  labels.

Side 1 stamped matrix: XEX 637-1             and Side 2: XEX 638-1. 

There is an embossed KT tax/price code to the centre of the side 1 record label.

The Vinyl  comes in an ORIGINAL, First Issue, Flame Red and White inner bag printed ‘Made in Great Britain Patents Applied For’ to the bottom corner which is in excellent condition. NO Handwriting and only a 1.5 inch  split to the side seam and 1 discoloration spot

And comes with an ORIGINAL First Issue CARD Sgt Pepper Cut-Out, Printed in England, which is in excellent,  condition.,,looks like someone did have it on a wall with blutack,,but was careful with it,,as it has nearly no wear ( see photo )

The album is protected in an ORIGINAL First Issue RARE WIDER SPINE  ( 5mm) Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse. 

VINYL GRADES ''GOOD'' VISUALLY- BUT PLAYS EXCELLENT!

COVER GRADES   VG+,,,REALLY ONLY SPINE ISSUE

the vinyl is VISUALLY graded '' good''  under a bright 100 watt desk lamp ( a lower visual grade,,it means scuffs,marks,hairlines and in this case quite a few of all of them ) - however ,basically no deep scratches ( only light ones-superficial )  and EXCELLENT playback (played the whole record, i  heard barely any surface noise,just for a split second at intro and even that is hard to hear and then only really rarely in the silent parts between tracks,,

 i cranked this one up REALLY loud and turned the treble up-so  this is an excellent play copy,there are NO SKIPS whatsoever,,,,,i think ANYONE  would be happy with how it plays) i personally cant believe how well it plays considering how it looks visually,,but we are talking uk high quality thick vinyl and it is a first press ( great because there closest to the masters ) i think even one of the members was quoted saying '' you havent heard this album if you havent heard it in mono'',,this is the mix that the beatles did,,,later ones slightly different,,everything is clear crisp and clean,, puts australian pressings too shame

 the cover is VG+ the spine is not readable and a little worn ,,really the spine is the main wear on the cover,,as the cover is fully laminated It has stood the test of time very well,,top and bottom seams totally intact and only the lightest small parts of wear on bottom seam,,cover has NO tears, NO splits, NO major defects
