“SONGS, PICTURES AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES” GATEFOLD COVER & OVAL COLORBAND LABEL   

You’re bidding on a very nice copy of this 45 YEAR OLD ALBUM that’s not real easy to come by in this kind of condition. For those of you who don’t know, this album came with a “SONGS, PICTURES AND STORIES” cover but an “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” record. The NEAR MINT VALUE of this album is $500.00!  Here are the particulars:  

COVER: (VG) – (VJLP– 1092) This is a really nice example of this 2/3 GATEFOLD COVER that is usually found in much rougher condition. (SEE IMAGES.) There’s no ring wear on the Inside Flap and only the slightest start of ring wear on the Back Cover. The top and bottom corners of the rear cover do have visible creases. These minor flaws do little to detract from this nice looking example of a really cool cover. 
SPINE: Has some chipping, some of which looks like it’s been written over in magic marker. (Not by me.) Still looks pretty good for a mostly-black gatefold cover.    (SEE IMAGES.) 
RECORD:  (VG++) – Play tested.  No skips. A few light scuffs. Looks and sounds like it’s hardly been played.    
LABELS: (VG+) VJLP-1062 Black Colorband with Oval Logo. Both labels look fantastic.  (SEE IMAGES.)    
SLEEVE: Comes in new generic sleeve. 


NOTE: I'm no expert on grading, so I'll just let you check out the images and decide for yourself. If you have any questions, please contact me BEFORE you bid.  Please be aware that some imperfections that are visible in the images may not be listed in the descriptions. So please check them carefully.  

*** SHIPPING NOTE: Albums will be securely shipped in cardboard mailers made specifically for LPs. The records will be removed from their covers and original inner sleeves and placed in acid-free paper or poly sleeves. The cover will be put in a loose-fitting polyethylene sleeve. The cost of these items is included in the Shipping & Handling charge.  

First Class S&H in Continental U.S. is $4.00 for first LP & $1.00 for each additional LP.
