Description

Up for auction is a copy of The Beatles Second Album, released in 1964 on Odeon, cat no OR 7058. A unique-to-Japan LP (different from the US LP of the same name), this is made up of offcuts from the original releases of the Beatles’ first two UK LPs, plus associated singles. Pressed on red vinyl with lyric insert.

Condition: a few surface marks to both sides, and one feelable mark on side two audible through “Devil in her Heart”, but no jumps or sticks. Clean labels. Lyric insert has a few spots of mildew plus a small (less than 1cm) tear on the right hand edge. Cover has a 2cm spine split and a little general wear. VG all round.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
