On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1967 - BARELY ANY 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO (NEARLY ALL WERE MONO!) AS DEMAND FOR STEREOs WAS ABSOLUTELY TINY!!!!  MANY SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK STEREOS AS STANDARD IN 1967 - AND THEY WERE ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!!  AS A RESULT - FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN MEGA RARE STEREO, IS VERY VERY HARD INDEED!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL (AND POSSIBLY EVEN UNIQUE!) IS THAT IT IS HAS AN ULTRA RARE 'ZOT' LABEL TAX CODING (SEE PICTURE!)!!!!   AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP - AND THE ONLY ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  THE 'OT' TAX CODE WAS PHASED OUT IN THE UK ON 4/10/1962, AND THE 'ZT' TAX CODE WAS PHASED OUT ON 11/26/1962 - WITH THE 'ZOT' TAX CODE BEING USED TO OVERLAP THE TWO - AROUND MAY 1962!!!!  SO THERE IS NO RATIONAL EXPLAINATION WHY IT SHOULD BE ON THIS LP AT ALL IN 1967 - AS IT DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT EVEN EXIST!!!!   IT IS NOT MENTIONED IN ANY PRICE GUIDES, OR BEATLES BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ - AND COULD QUITE EASILY BE UNIQUE!!!!  IT WAS CLEARLY A HUGE ERROR AT THE FACTORY - AND WOULD HAVE BEEN IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED (WITH BARELY ANY LEAKING OUT)!!!!  THIS LP HAS TO BE THE RAREST VARIATION OF 'SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEART CLUB BAND' EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!  IT IS CERTAINLY MUCH MUCH RARER THAN ANY 'WIDE SPINE' COVER, 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER, 'MONO/STEREO' COVER, 'NO 'DAY IN THE LIFE CREDIT', OR EVEN THE 'LEGENDARY 4TH PROOF' COVER!!!!  I HAVE HAD MANY COPIES OF ALL OF THE ABOVE VARIATIONS I HAVE JUST MENTIONED - BUT THIS IS THE ONLY 'ZOT' TAX CODED SGT PEPPER 1ST PRESSING I HAVE EVER SEEN - EVER!!!  AFTER ALL - AS I JUST MENTIONED, THIS LP IS SO INCREDIBLY RARE LIKE THIS - THAT IT SHOULDNT EVEN EXIST AT ALL!!!!

The matrix numbers are YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1.  The Cat. No is PCS 7027 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 MEGA light scuffline, only 1 ULTRA light TINY surface trace, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound in a VERY few places (though mostly NONE!)!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' Red/White inner sleeve which is UNSPLIT, and is in BRILLIANT condition with just a few creases at the bottom!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Darker Green' Insert is in SUPERB condition and clearly hasnt EVER left the cover!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold Flipback FULLY Laminated STEREO Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate indeed, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in AMAZING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, STUNNING flipbacks, PERFECT shiny 'mirror-like' laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
