The BEATLES - SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND
Rare and sought after 1978 Dutch pressing on YELLOW vinyl
The condition of the vinyl is excellent (EX) : the vinyl has retained a beautiful glossy yellow lustre and remains flat, weighty, and seemingly underplayed. Close inspection under a bright light reveals some very small and very faint scuff marks on each side along with just the occasional extremely fine hairline, all of which are non-feelable, surface only, and appear to be superficial. The exceptions to this are a tiny mark at the very beginning of side 2 which does result in some very light, background rotational clicking for the first 5 or 6 rotations during the intro to "Within You Without You", and a tiny faintest of faint hairline which though non-feelable does resulty in four extremely light clicks about half way through "A Day In The Life" - you will need to listen very hard to detect them. Excellent condition labels with the only blemishes being a few small and extremely light spindle trails on each label next to the centre hole. Any other blemishes you can detect in the accompanying photos are purely manufacturing. Very good (VG) condition laminated gatefold sleeve with firm edges thoughthere is some light sporsadic scuff marks on each, more obviously so on the corners where theis is noticeable rubbing (see photos)and a 1cm tear/split at the bottom right corner. There are a few1-2cm light laminate creases adjacent to and perpendicular to the spine (front and reverse sides) and a 12cm diagonal surface crinkle on the reverse side. The only other blemish of note is a small light stain in the very right bottom corner of the reverse side. The interior of the gatefold is excellent. The original "cut-outs" insert is unused and remains in very nice condition with a very small stain at the bottom left corner and a very light diagonal surface crinkle towards the right edge - both minor. Very impressive and overall excellent minus (EX-) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, or distortion and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum - just the very occasional hint of some very, very background crackle but nothing really. There are also the two aforementioned tiny blemishes on side 2 which do result in a few rotations of very light clicking at the beginning of "Within You Without You" and four even lighter background clicks midway through "A Day In The Life". But nothing to really impinge upon the overall excellent audio quality with every track remaining a great listen - timeless! Comes in original black poly-lined inner sleeve with no side splits, tears or obvious creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A few very minor blemishes but overall a very nice copy of this rare 1978 UK Dutch yellow vinyl stereo Beatles classic

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
