Vinyl: Visually varying from VG+ to EX. These first presses are unusually heavy,  pure quality vinyl that could take a bump or two. There is a deep glossy lustre both sides.  The vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Only a couple of very small  lines can be detected. These do not affect the replay.  And I would grade the overall replay at at least  EX+.  This just shows the immense quality of these earliest heavy presses with high groove walls. There are NO skips, NO jumps, and ........ NO CRACKLE!!!! Just beautiful smooth audio. There is hardly ever any static crackle, this is mainly confined to the grooves between tracks. This album has a BEAUTIFUL audio quality. The winner will be delighted. The vinyl has a beautiful glossy lustre.

I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is hardly ever any background noise at all!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!! I particularly liked "A Day In The Life", which is better and has far deeper dynamics than any other version/format I have ever heard!

The gatefold sleeve ("Printed and made  by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd.") is phenomenal with a beautiful shiny glossy laminate and without any grubby marks like most would have. Would grade EX+  if it  were not for a couple of  smallish underlaminate creases quite hard to spot in fact, near the spine and to the back.  A small crease on the opening near the top. The spine is beautiful and very straight, not worn!!!  Small corner "mini bumps" . The inside gatefold looks splendid!!  Of course NO writing or defacing of any kind.

This album comes complete with the ORIGINAL cut outs insert ("Peter Blake/John Haworth")which is EXCELLENT and has sat inside the sleeve for all of its life. The insert is totally unused and has NO writing or defacing of any kind.

This an excellent investment opportunity!!!

Labels are EX with a few spindle traces.

Europe and worldwide will be by Signed For or Airsure service if the auction reaches over £40.00 depending on the destination country.
