The Beatles - Twist and Shout E.P. GEP 8882

The Beatles 1963 1st UK pressing FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO of 'Twist and Shout' E.P. Released on the 12th July 1963, this also comes with the very rare original '1963 RECORD MAILER' cover. These initial early 1st pressings would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date. The record mailer cover which houses the E.P is incredibly rare to find.

The vinyl features the 'Recording First Published 1963' text and has 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. The 'MKT' tax code is visible on the side 1 label. The record mailer sleeve features a UK postage stamp from London W1 (with pre decimal pricing), the original owners address and the following:

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7TCE 762-1N.

Side 2. 7TCE 763-1N

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. This would be higher except for a small stain on the back (see pic).

The original record mailer outer sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. Just some very slight knocks to the edges.
