BEATLES UK – ‘A HARD DAYS NIGHT’, rare ‘outline’ Stereo logo sleeve.

PCS 3058 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK LP in 100% original condition.

This very hard to find LP with its ‘outlined’ Stereo sleeve logo was printed in the latter half of the 1960s. A very small run of these ‘outlined’ Stereo logo sleeves were printed, some say they were printed in error !, as most Stereo sleeves for this LP can be found with the more familiar ‘solid’ medium size Stereo logos on the front of the sleeves. These ‘outlined’ Stereo logo sleeves are very hard to find.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front is laminated. The front of the sleeve has a very unusual ‘outlined’ Stereo logo. The spine is in very good++ condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve for its age has remained clean. There are NO splits, tears, sticker residue or stickers on the sleeve. There are three small pen crosses marked next to the song listing on the rear on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original EMI advertising red and white sleeve. There are NO tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue. There is a split to one of the side edges. On one side of the sleeve, top right there is a pen note that says, ‘A Hard Days N’.

THE VINYL: is in very good++ condition, the vinyl is clean, dark and glossy.

The matrix  nos. are:  YEX  126 – 1  and  YEX  127 – 1,

The Mother/Stampers are:  ‘  3      O L   ’   and    ‘  2    M A  ’.

THE AUDIO: is very good,  it plays with some crackle and the odd light ‘tick’ here and there. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in very good++ condition, unusually there are NO letters embossed around the spindle holes of the labels. The labels are free from pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
