BEATLES UK – ‘A Hard Day Night’ & ‘Rubber Soul’ original LPs.

A Hard Days Night- PMC 1230 an early - UK Mono pressing on the original yellow and black Parlophone labels.

A UK album in 100% original condition.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good condition, the front is laminated. The spine is in very good condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO splits or tears, there is some light age related marks to the rear and a small name written in black ink to the top rear.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original EMI ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL:  is in very good++ condition, it is very clean, dark and glossy.  The vinyl is made from thick, heavy vinyl. The matrix is 3N and 3N.

THE AUDIO:  side one the audio is excellent, side two plays near excellent with some light ‘ticks’ here and there. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS:  side one is in very good++  condition, side two is in excellent condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers and sticker residue.

Rubber Soul - PMC 1267 – an early UK Mono pressing on the original yellow and black Parlophone labels.

A UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

On the record label on side two, the letters ‘MT’ are embossed on it. This is unusual as the code ‘MT’ was officially not used after July 1963 !. This is possibly an example of EMI using an older pressing machine !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near very good condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good condition and all of the text can be read. The rear of the sleeve features the tri flipback design. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a ‘water stain’ to the bottom rear left and some signs of laminate lifting to the front top right.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. There are NO stains, pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in excellent condition. The vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl, it has remained dark and glossy, the matrix are 4 / 4 .

THE AUDIO: side one is very good, it plays with some crackle, side two plays very good with some crackle and the odd light ‘tick’  heard here and there.  The vinyl lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, unusually there are the letters ‘M T’ embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
