Description
BEATLES UK – ‘A Hard Days Night’, ‘know’ mis press, Mono LP.
PMC 1230 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK LP in original condition, featuring:
1. a rare mispress Mono label on side one, as the track ‘I should have known better’ has been mis pressed as ‘I should have know better’ !. On the record sleeve the song title of the track ‘I should have known better’ is spelt correctly,
2. the sleeve has a hard to find small Mono logo to the front, top right of the sleeve, these Mono sleeves usually have a ‘medium’ size Mono logo.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front is laminated, this laminate is excellent, glossy and unscuffed. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has remained a good clean white in colour for its age. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue. On the rear, top right there is a discrete pencil 32/6, I assume to be the original price in the1960s.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original black and white EMI advertising sleeve. The sleeve is very clean and fresh. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stains, splits, stickers or sticker residue.
THE VINYL: side one is in very good+ condition, with just some light non sounding ‘scuffs’, side two is in very good++ condition, the vinyl is dark and glossy.
The matrix nos. are: XEX 481 3N and XEX 482 3N,
The mother/stampers are: ‘ 2 A L O ’ and ‘ 7 A H A ’.
THE AUDIO: is excellent, a good playing copying.
THE LABELS: are in excellent condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two of the label. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
