BEATLES UK  –  ABBEY ROAD LP, first press, mispress misaligned Apple logo.

1969 PCS 7088 -  APPLE RECORD LABEL.

A very first press UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

1. a  Misaligned APPLE logo mispress on the rear of the sleeve,

2. the track ‘Her Majesty’ is NOT printed on the record label on side two nor is it printed on the rear of the sleeve BUT the track  DOES play on the record !

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in  very good++ condition, the sleeve is fully laminated.  The thin spine is in very good++ condition and all the text is clear to read.  As this is a very first pressing of this album it features the Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve misaligned, to the left !.  EMI were quick to correct this and later sleeves had the Apple logo aligned with the song listing. Theres NO pen writing, stains, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.   

THE INNER SLEEVE:  is in near excellent condition and  is the original EMI white sleeve with the text ‘ Patent no 1,125,555’,  an excellent very clean white sleeve.  There are NO tears, stains pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.  There is a bottom edge split.      

THE VINYL:  is in very good++ condition, the vinyl is made from the period thick, heavy vinyl. It is very dark and glossy in appearance.

The Matrix are :    YEX  749 – 2  and  YEX  750  –  1,

The Mother/Stampers are :  ‘9    M H D’  and ‘ 9    A M G’.

THE AUDIO:  side one is near excellent,  side two is very good, I did hear a ‘tick’ on the first minute of ‘Here comes the Sun’ and some other isolated ‘ticks’ here and there. The record  plays well without the needle sticking or jumping. 

THE LABELS:  are in very good condition.  As this is a first pressing side one shows a DARK Green Apple.  The song  ‘ Her Majesty’ does NOT appear on the label.  The labels are free from pen writing,  stickers or sticker residue.
