BEATLES UK, Abbey Road LP, original 1969, early issue.

PCS 7088, original UK 1969 Apple record labels.

An early UK issue in original condition, featuring:

1. the track ‘Her Majesty’, is not printed on the record label on side two, nor is this track title printed on the rear of the sleeve, but this track does plays on the record !,

2. as this is a UK 1969 first issue record, side one shows a DARK green Apple colour.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the sleeve is fully laminated. The original thin spine is in excellent+ condition, it has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges and the four corners of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original period EMI plain white inner sleeve with the text, ‘Patent No. 1,125,555’. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn. An excellent clean, white well preserved inner sleeve. The original EMI inner sleeve from 1969 is made from the period, ‘heavy grade’ quality paper and has a ‘textured’ surface on the inside. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers of sticker residue to the inner sleeve. To the rear there is a small age related mark.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent++ condition. Side two is in near excellent condition. The record is made of the period quality 1960s, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 - 1,

The mother / stampers are: ‘7 RTR’ and ‘10 ROR’.

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent+, in general it plays with excellent quiet groves. Side two also plays excellent+ it plays with some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. The record plays with a loud, full, clear period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in excellent++ condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
