PCS 7088, original first issue UK 1969 ‘dark green’ Apple record label.

A UK, early issue album from 1969 in original condition, featuring:

1. first issue UK 1969 record matrix of: YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 - 1,

2. first issue UK 1969 ‘dark green’ Apple colour record label on side one,

3. on side two of the record label, the track ‘Her Majesty’ is NOT printed. Also on the rear of the sleeve there is NO reference to this track !, but the track PLAYS on the record !,

4. comes with its original period, plain white EMI inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the sleeve is laminated front and rear. The original period, ‘thin’ spine is in very good++ condition and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original period plain white EMI inner sleeve with the text ‘Patent Nos 1125555’. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in very good++ condition. Side two is in excellent++ condition. The record is made from the quality 1960s, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 - 1,

The mother / stampers are: ‘9 GTD’ and ‘3 RDT’.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent++, with excellent quiet grooves. A joy to listen to, that plays with a near perfect audio. Each side plays with a clear, full powerful period, stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in excellent condition. Side two is in excellent+ condition. As the record labels are first UK 1969 issue, side one shows a ‘dark green’ apple colour. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
