SMO 73991, ZTOX 5600, original 1966, second issue, white, red and gold stereo record labels.

A 1966 second issue German stereo album in original condition, featuring:

1. this particular stereo mix of ‘I want to hold your hand’ on this album was re mixed in 1965 and features the vocals in the centre of the stereo sound,

2. this particular stereo mix of ‘I feel fine’ on this album features a lot of ‘echo’ on the recording, far more than what was used on the UK stereo mix,

3. this particular stereo mix of ‘All my loving’ on this album features a ‘high hat’ intro, this never appeared on the UK stereo mix.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition. The front and rear of the sleeve has remained clean and glossy. The spine is in excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period black and white German advertising sleeve. A good clean sleeve for its age. There is a split to one of the side edges and to the bottom edge. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE RECORD: is in good++ condition. The record is made of the period 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are:  YBEX 50069 – 1   and   YBEX 50070 – 1,  

THE AUDIO: is good++, it plays with some ‘crackle’, ‘pops’ and ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
