HELP LP, original UK 1965 first issue mono.
PMC 1255, original UK 1965 black and yellow Parlophone labels.

Sgt Pepper, UK 1969 hybrid mono / stereo sleeve.PCS 7027, original 1960s, black and sliver, one EMI box stereo Malaysian Parlophone record labels.
A UK / Malaysian album in original condition, featuring:
It was standard practice in the 1960s for UK record ‘sleeves’ etc to be sent to other country's, those country's would then manufacture their own records etc to sell in those country's. This copy features a hard to find 1969 UK ‘flip back’, ‘hybrid’ mono / stereo sleeve.
1. EMI in the UK during 1969 were getting ready for the new ‘stereo’ music format. As a result of this transition period, EMI produced these very hard to find ‘hybrid’ mono / stereo ‘flip back’ sleeves. EMI ever keen to cut back on any waste, made an attempt to use up their remaining stock of Pepper mono ‘flip back’ sleeves, by experimenting by adding an additional line of text to their old stock of Pepper mono ‘flip back’ sleeves. The text ‘PCS 7027 stereo’ was added to ‘some’ of the remaining Pepper mono ‘flip back’ sleeves, to the rear, top right corner. Later, EMI realised that the future of the mono recording format was over, so their remaining old stock of Pepper mono ‘flip back’ sleeves were finally scrapped !. So as a result very few of these ‘hybrid’ mono / stereo sleeves were ever produced. EMI soon went on to print ‘stereo’ only Pepper sleeves.
2. this ‘hybrid’ mono / stereo sleeve features deeper ‘flip backs’, than the regular mono ‘flip back’ sleeves, as they measure ‘a deeper’ 19mm,
3. comes with its original, colour EMI period printed in Malaysia, advertising inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near very good condition. The hard to find UK ‘gate fold’, ‘hybrid’ mono / stereo ‘flip back’ sleeve is fully laminated. The spine is in near very good condition, it has remained clean, white and straight and most of the text on the spine is readable. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear there are some small ‘nicks’ to the laminate and some colour loss. There is a slight split to the bottom, rear, centre edge and 15mm of rubbing wear to the bottom of the spine.
THE INSERT: is in excellent++ condition. The rear has remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in ‘fair’ condition and is the original period Malaysian EMI period colour advertising sleeve. It has a split to one side edge and a complete split to the other side edge. A split to the bottom edge and some tears to the rear opening edge and some age related marks here and there.
THE RECORD: each side is in very good+ condition. It has remained dark and glossy. The record is made from the original period 1960s thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: YE 637 – 1 and YE 638 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: there are NO mother / stampers on side one. On side two there is the number ‘2’ engraved at the 9 o’clock position.
THE AUDIO: each side plays very good++, it plays with some light ‘ticks’ and some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. The audio plays with a full, loud period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
