BEATLES UK - Rubber Soul, final Mono matrix 5 / 5.

PMC 1267 - original 1965 Mono Yellow & Black Parlophone Labels.

An original UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

The Beatles record producer, George Martins last Mono mix of this album, the 5 / 5 matrix, now considered to be the best sounding Mono  mixes.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near very good condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in near very good condition, and all of the text can be read. The rear of the sleeve features the tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve has remained a good clean white for its age. There are NO tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is some light age marks  to the rear of the sleeve. There is some edge splitting to the  middle top and bottom edges and on the rear top signs of a name that was once written, but seems to have worn away over the years.  There is some ‘nibbling’ to the four corners.   

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. For its age it is a very clean sleeve. There are NO  stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue. There is a split to one edge and a small tear, 10mm to one side of the opening edge.

THE VINYL: is in very good+ condition, the vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are :     XEX 579 - 5    and    XEX 580 – 5,

The Mother / Stampers are:    ‘ 2     G R ’   and   very early  ‘ 1  R ’.

THE AUDIO: is very good, it plays well with some crackle.  The vinyl lays flat on the turntable. 

THE LABELS: are in near excellent condition, there are the letters ‘K T’ embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
