6. UK first issue record labels, as sides one and three feature the original DARK green ‘Apple’ colours,

7. UK first issue record labels, as each record label features the text, ‘Sold in UK’ etc.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in good+ condition. The original UK first issue 1968 double album ‘gate fold’ sleeve is fully laminated. On the front it has an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual serial number of, ‘0580355’, this number appears clear and bold. To the rear, top right there is the word ‘stereo’ printed, proving this to be a genuine stereo sleeve. The spine is in very good+ condition, it has some of the usual ‘flaky’ laminate but has remained clean for its age and all the text on the spine is readable. The sleeve features two visible ‘flip backs’, ie, ‘fold over’ edges, seen when the sleeve is opened. When the sleeve is opened it is clean and glossy. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a ‘tear’ to the front outer panel (only), the tear runs from the front top left corner, down to the bottom edge. There are three small ‘nicks’ to the front, right opening edge, the other three opening edges have remained clean. There is a ‘water’ mark to the front, top right opening edge and on the rear panel, to the right middle edge there is some rubbing wear.

THE INNER SLEEVES: the two inner sleeves are the original black ‘Apple’ inner sleeves and have not been replaced. One sleeve is in near very good condition, it has some small ‘nicks’ and some ‘fraying’ to the rear opening edge and a split to each of the two side edges. The other sleeve is also in near very good condition, it has some small ‘nicks’ and some ‘fraying’ to the rear opening edge and a split to one of the side edges and a 10mm tear around the, ‘die cut hole’.

THE PHOTOS: the four photos are not present.

THE POSTER: the poster is not present.

THE RECORDS: record one, side one is in excellent+ condition, side two is in excellent condition. Record two, side three is in very good+ condition and side four is in near excellent condition. The two records are made of the original 1960s, ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl. The records have remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 709 - 1, YEX 710 - 1, YEX 711 - 2 , an unusual, ‘2’ matrix, and YEX 712 – 1,

The mother / stampers are: ‘1 PG’, ‘1 OT’, ‘1 GPD’ and ‘1 OG’, all ‘1’ mothers’.

THE AUDIO: sides one and two play excellent+ with just some light ‘dusty’, ‘crackle’ heard hear and there. Sides three and four play excellent with some light ‘ticks’ and light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in very good++ condition, side two is in excellent++ condition. Side three is in very good ++ condition and side four is in excellent++ condition. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
