BEATLES UK – White Album, original first issue UK numbered Stereo LP.

PCS 7067/7068 – original 1968 Apple record labels.

A UK very first issue, top loading sleeve, stereo copy with an individual serial number of ‘No. 0498387’.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition. The double album gatefold sleeve is fully laminated. For its age the sleeve has remained relatively clean, white and fresh. On the front it has an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL number of No. 0498387, this number appears bold and clear. To the rear there is a small printed ‘Stereo’ logo, proving this to be a genuine STEREO sleeve, this stereo logo also appears bold and clear. The spine is in very good++ condition and all of the text is readable. For its age the spine has remained a good clean white in colour. When the gatefold sleeve is opened it is very clean with an excellent glossy laminate. The sleeve features two visible side flipbacks when the sleeve is opened, these flipbacks are all excellent and well stuck down. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: the original inner sleeves are not present, the record set comes with two new plain white inner sleeves.

THE POSTER: the original poster is not present.

THE PHOTOS: the four original photos are not present.

THE RECORDS: record one, sides one and three are in good condition. Record two, sides two and four are in good+ condition. The records are made of the original period 1960s ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl.

The matrix are: YEX  709 – 1, YEX  710 - 1, YEX  711 - 1 and YEX 712 - 1.

The mother / stampers are: ‘ 1  O R ’, ‘ 3  G R O ’, ‘ 4  G P M’ and ‘ 6   O P ’.

THE AUDIO: record one, sides one and two play good with crackle, ‘ticks’ and ‘pops’ heard throughout. Record two, sides three and four play fair to good with crackle, ‘ticks’ and ‘pops’ heard throughout. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: sides one and two are in near excellent condition and sides three and four and in very good++ condition. As this is a very first issue, sides one and three feature the original DARK green Apple colours. Each of the labels have the text ‘Sold in UK’ etc’ and the text ‘An EMI recording’. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
